Mercury has now completed it's Retrograde and has "gone direct".
Travel plans are now likely to go smoothly, no more issues with electrical items and all communications are likely to open up and become smoother.
What is the impact on how we are likely to feel? The answer is much more upbeat and the feeling that they we are going forwards. This coupled with the New Moon in Aries is likely to produce very positive and enthusiastic energy. We are likely to be more resceptive and less fearful of making changes!
Next Mercury Retrograde: 26th July 2018 in the Sun Sign of Leo
April 2018 brings with it quite a lot of planetary activity in so much we have three planets that go “Retrograde” this month. When Planets go Retrograde there is significant impact on us here on Earth.
My aim in this blog is to explain in simple terms what happens when the planets in our Solar System go into Retrograde, when we can expect Planetary Retrograde’s in April 2018 and what the impact to us is likely to be
What Does Retrograde Mean?
The meaning of Retrograde is really to go or move “backwards” or to go in “reverse”
What happens when a planet goes Retrograde?
When Planets go into Retrograde they don’t actually physically start moving backwards in the solar system. They create an optical illusion for us here on Earth and to us when we study the Planets, it will just look like the planets are starting to move backwards.
What’s the General Impact on our Lives when Retrograde Occur?
Planetary Retrogrades can cause chaotic and challenging activity in our lives, which can tip the balance in even the most calmest and peaceful of lives. Depending on how you view the challenges that occur will depend on whether you see Retrogrades as positive or negative experiences.
What Retrograde Activity will be happening in April 2018?
Mercury finishes it’s Retrograde on 15th April 2018. This Retrograde started on 22nd March 2018; thus lasting 3.5 weeks. This is the second of four Retrogrades for 2018
Saturn starts to Retrograde on 17th April 2018, just a mere 2 days after Mercury finishes. This Retrograde is set to last until 6th September 2018. Saturn only has one Retrograde per year and it tends to last for approximately 140 days.
Pluto, the smallest and coldest Planet in the Solar System, starts it’s Retrograde on 22nd April 2018 and finishes on 1st October 2018. Pluto has one Retrograde per year lasting up to six months at a time.
How will April’s Planetary Retrogrades affect our lives?
Mercury Retrograde- In general and this Retrograde is no different, during a Mercury Retrograde communications can become difficult and even tense; technology can go wrong and even the best made travel plans can go wrong too. You may even see the return of ex lovers or friends too.
Saturn Retrograde-During a Saturn Retrograde not a time to act in haste or be spontaneous. This is a time to take your time to complete projects and to recheck your work This is a time when workloads can be very high and you may feel like you are under intense pressure. Do not be afraid to say no and be mindful of how many new things you can realistically take on. Not the best time to be starting something new!
Pluto Retrograde-When Pluto Retrogrades, this affects all our motivations and intentions. This can be good and bad as it focuses on our desires to make changes and progress forward, but may also affect our desire for something negative like revenge. It is also a time when we look back at past hurts and we start to reminisce on what has hurt us, but because we start to address the negative we can then begin to heal.
